Challenge yourself or hang around on the many fun elements all around the ropes course. During the summer enjoy the fresh air when we open up our huge hanger doors view of the Hudson.
*We reserve the right to assess each climber to determine course access. Height and reach requirements alone do not guarantee participation in all areas of the ropes course; skill and ability will also be evaluated. Access decisions are final and made solely to ensure the safety of all participants.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Do I need to sign a waiver before participating?
Yes. Every participant must sign a valid waiver before climbing.

What should I wear on my feet?
Closed-toed shoes are required to climb the ropes course or rock wall. No sandals, flip-flops, or open footwear are allowed.
​
Are there height or reach requirements to participate?
Yes. Participants must meet the following physical requirements:

Minimum height: 49"

Standing reach of 56" is required to access the first level of the course and the rock walls.

Reach of 69" is required to access the second (top) level of the course.
​
Is the outdoor ropes course available?
No. The exterior ropes course is currently not in use and is not included in the ropes course experience.

Does meeting the height requirement guarantee full access?
Not necessarily. Staff members reserve the right to evaluate each climber based on skill and ability. Height and reach alone do not guarantee access to all sections. These decisions are final and made for safety purposes.

Can I get a refund if I can’t access certain parts of the course?
No. If a safety marshal determines you are unable to access specific sections, there are no refunds, as you may still use other parts of the course.

Is there a safety briefing before climbing?
Yes. All participants are required to attend a safety briefing before being allowed on the course.
​
Can parents climb with their children?
Yes. The required supervision ratio is 1 adult per 2 children.
​
Can I climb if I’ve consumed alcohol or drugs?
No. Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol is not permitted on the course.
​
Are there any medical conditions that restrict participation?
Yes. Anyone under a physician’s care, including but not limited to, conditions such as pregnancy, bone or joint issues, or cardiovascular concerns — may not participate.
​
Is there a weight limit?
Yes. The maximum weight limit for any participant is 300 lbs.
​
Can I wear jewelry while climbing?
No. Please remove all jewelry or loose items that could get snagged during your climb.
​
How should I manage my hair and glasses?

Hair must be tied back and away from the face and neck.

Glasses must be secured with a sports band or strap.
​
Is Spins Hudson responsible for lost or damaged items?
No. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
​
Are there restricted areas on the course floor?
Yes. Climbers are not allowed to cross yellow lines on the floor. Spectators must remain on the upper entrance level, not on the ground level.
