FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Do I need to sign a waiver to participate?
Yes. Every participant must have a valid waiver signed before throwing.

What footwear is required for axe throwing?
Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. No one may throw while wearing open-toe shoes.

What is the minimum age to participate?
You must be 18 years old. Guests aged 16–17 may participate only with a guardian present at the axe throwing arena at all times. If the guardian leaves, the session ends immediately.

What behavior is expected during sessions?
All participants must behave responsibly and safely. Irresponsible actions, endangering others, or using inappropriate language with staff will not be tolerated.

Are there any restricted throwing techniques?
Yes. Aggressive, overhead, or reverse throws are prohibited.

Do I have to follow staff instructions?
Yes. You must follow all directions and heed staff warnings. Repeated issues may result in your session being ended without refund.

Can my session be refunded if it ends early?
No. Any session that ends early is non-refundable.

How do you determine who can throw?
We assess each participant for safety. Age alone does not guarantee participation—skill and ability are evaluated. Access decisions are final and made solely to ensure safety.

Can I throw if I’ve been drinking or using substances?
No. Guests under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted. Staff may refuse access or remove intoxicated guests without refund.

Are there any health restrictions?
Yes. Anyone under a physician’s care for conditions such as pregnancy, bone or joint issues, or cardiovascular issues may not participate.

Is Spins Hudson responsible for lost or damaged items?
No. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
​
What happens if the lane needs repairs during my session?
Repairs or common maintenance are counted as part of your time.
​
What if damage is caused to the axes or lanes?
Any damage caused by excessive force or misuse will be charged to the paying party, regardless of who in the party caused it.
